Barrett Group Inc. was founded by Thomas Barrett in 1984 in Cincinnati, OH.  Our industry has gone through many changes since then, but we have maintained relationships with high-quality manufacturers, and have remained focused on providing the highest level of service to our customers.

We serve as a base of knowledge and a consultant to the distributors, architects, designers, contractors, and end users that specify and use our products. We are known in our territory for our long history of experience, dedication, and knowledge of building products, the life safety and fire codes that keep people safe, and being able to help specifiers and end users select the right products for their applications.

For almost 40 years, we have been an independent manufacturer’s representative sales agency focusing our sales and marketing in both Divisions 8 (Architectural Doors & Hardware) and 10 (Specialized Building Products) in commercial construction for the manufacturers that we represent in Ohio, Kentucky, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
